Faye Purbrick, the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Glastonbury and Somerton, recently attended the Armed Forces Conference held in Bridgwater, underlining her support and commitment to the military community.
The conference, organised by NHS Somerset and Somerset Council, was a pivotal event that brought together various stakeholders to discuss the challenges faced by service families.
During the conference, Faye had the opportunity to hear from representatives of RNAS Yeovilton, RM Norton Manor, and other important military groups.
These discussions provided valuable insights into the specific needs and difficulties that service families encounter here in Glastonbury and Somerton and nationally.
Such engagements are crucial for policymakers to understand the lived experiences of military personnel and their loved ones.
