If you are going to be away BEFORE the postal votes are sent out by the local council and on polling day, you can appoint someone as your proxy. This means that they vote on your behalf, in person at a polling station.
You can arrange a proxy vote by going to ABOUT MY VOTE or contact the office and one of our volunteers can act as your proxy.
MEDICAL EMERGENCY PROXY – if you are in hospital or sick you can arrange a medical emergency proxy. These act in the same way as a proxy vote but apply up to 5pm on Polling Day but must be signed by a doctor or medical professional. Contact the office for more information.
